Does PurScan upload my documents?

No. Scanning, image processing, OCR, PDF generation, and storage happen on your device. A file leaves PurScan only when you deliberately use the system share sheet.

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

No account is required. The core document workflow also works in Airplane Mode. Apple App Store handles downloads, updates, and refunds.

Which recognition languages are supported?

Version 1.0.0 supports on-device English, German, and French OCR with automatic detection and per-document override. The app interface is available in the same three languages.

Why is it a one-time purchase?

PurScan focuses on a local scanning workflow. It does not depend on cloud accounts, cloud storage, or an always-on OCR service, so there is no subscription or feature wall.
